Maria and Tyler had a vision for an elegant and romantic engagement session.  Something a little different than the typical engagement session.  So, we headed to one of my favorite places, Hershey, PA! 

Maria and Tyler are getting married this coming June so it's nice to look back at these photos since they were taken during a similar time of year.  I can't wait to go back to Hershey when the flowers are blooming again! 

This couple is just the cutest together and I know that their wedding will be as lovely as their engagement session.

I really don't see how this is possible already.  I am celebrating 10 years of being in business!!  Let me tell you, that decade flew by! 

It's been 10 years since I took the leap into starting my business.  I honestly had no idea when I started that I'd make it this long.  I had just been given my first real camera by my husband as a Christmas gift.  I only had it a short time before I applied for my PA Business License.  I guess you can say I jumped in headfirst.  It ended up being one of the best decisions of my life!

I've been with many people during life changing moments. For some, it was the best day of their life, for others it was the absolute worst. I've been there for first kisses....and last. With each shoot and with each wedding, I've gotten a glimpse into people's lives. I've experienced their joy and elation and I've experienced their heartache and despair.

Running this business has never really felt like a job. Rather, more of an experience or adventure. It hasn't alway...s been easy, but it has been rewarding. It's taught me perseverance, given me a creative outlet and allowed me to stay home with my children. No matter how much of myself I pour into photography, I know my cup will be filled again and again.

I want to thank every one of the people I have had the privilege of photographing. You've impacted my life and I hope I've impacted yours. Here's to the next 10!
